The high school football game between Benedictine Military School and Jenkins High was called early as a precautionary measure.Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools says there were multiple crowd disruptions that started around halftime and continued into the 3rd quarter.Officials say the disruptive behavior was rooted in a TikTok challenge. The challenge was allegedly accepted by a group of spectators, designed to create the impression of a large chaotic incident.SCCPSS officials say there was never a stadium-wide threat, however, they decided to end the game early as a safety precaution.In a statement, the district said, in part, “SCCPSS seeks to ensure a safe, orderly environment at all events that involve students, staff and families and does not condone disruptive behavior that compromises safety.”
